My personal journey led me from Upper Franconia via the Netherlands to Bremen. After completing my studies in psychology, I moved to Berlin and became a licensed psychotherapist. I have moved to Valencia, Spain in the beginning of 2025.
Outside of my practice, I want to make sure I have a good balance to my job and I enjoy engaging in activities that include movement, creativity or being outside.
In my work I am guided by my values of acceptance, appreciation and authenticity. It is very important to me to get to know clients with their personal life story, experiences and life situation, perceived difficulties and hurdles, as well as strengths and resources.
I want to provide a space where clients can discover themselves and be authentic, so they can find their own path to move on. For me, it is always an inspiring and motivating experience to accompany my clients on their very own path and to support them in shaping it for themselves and continuing on their way strengthened.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with the overall goal of developing psychological flexibility, is my focus. Frequent topics are the ability to be able to cope with stressful thoughts and feelings, to develop self-acceptance and self-compassion, to gain clarity about personal values and goals and to be able to implement these in everyday life in a self-determined way. Other therapeutic strategies include mindfulness and imagery techniques, relaxation techniques, exposure techniques, as well as learning specific skills (e.g., problem-solving techniques, time management, structuring, etc.). In addition, hypnotherapeutic techniques can be integrated.
It is important to me to work together, so you can develop and implement individual strategies and solutions that work for you.
