I'm a psychologist with 14 years of working experience. I use CBT and Mindfulness to help people cope with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationships, burnout and trauma. Reach out for a free consultation.
Based in Denmark, I work mainly with internationals and expats across Europe, as well as Spanish-speaking clients in Latin America. I offer therapy online, and when relevant, in-person sessions in Denmark.
Many of my clients seek support for anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, overthinking, loneliness, self-criticism, relationship stress, and the challenges of adapting to life in a new country. I aim to offer a grounded space where we can reduce distress and build practical skills for daily life.
My approach integrates CBT and mindfulness to help you understand recurring patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more effective ways of coping, relating, and moving forward. Therapy with me is thoughtful, practical, and tailored to your individual needs and pace.
Normally in therapy, we clarify what you want to change, identify the patterns that keep you stuck, and translate insight into practical steps you can apply in real life. I work in a structured and collaborative way, with clear goals, regular progress check-ins, and concrete takeaways from each session.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, mainly CBT and mindfulness. Depending on your needs, we may focus on anxiety and worry cycles, emotional regulation, self-criticism, communication and boundaries, stress and burnout recovery, and sustainable behavior change. Mindfulness is used as a skill for attention, self-awareness, and responding more calmly, not as a performance or something you must be “good” at.
You will receive brief summaries of our sessions, therapeutic objectives, and suggested homework. Between-session practice is usually simple and realistic, designed to fit your context and pace. The overall aim is to help you feel more grounded, clear, and resilient, while building change that lasts.
Since 2014, I have run a private practice, offering online and in-person therapy to adult clients internationally. Alongside individual therapy, I have collaborated with international therapist networks to facilitate workshops, group interventions, and peer supervision.
Since 2022, I have led GotYa Forening, organizing retreats and workshops that promote emotional resilience and well-being among young international adults. Since 2023, I have also worked as a lecturer at Aarhus University, teaching group dynamics and conflict resolution.
Earlier in my career, I worked with vulnerable populations in Chile, including children affected by abuse, families facing substance abuse and domestic violence, and men with histories of intimate partner violence.
My work is grounded in evidence-based approaches, particularly CBT and mindfulness, with a focus on helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting change.
