I am a psychotherapist in training under supervision, specializing in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Since 2019, I have been practicing in my private practice in Vienna, offering both in-person and online sessions.
My career in the mental health sector began in 2009 as a psychologist in Albania. I have extensive experience working with individuals struggling with drug addiction and have served as a court-appointed expert witness in juvenile cases.
I am a member of the Akademie der Vereinigung Österreichischer Psychotherapeut*innen (VÖPP) and the Psychoanalytisches Seminar Innsbruck (PSI).
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychotherapy Science (Psychoanalysis) from Sigmund Freud University, Vienna, and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution.
My approach is grounded in free-floating attention, a deep and genuine interest in the patient, and a fundamental belief in their capacity for change. As a psychoanalyst, I encourage free association, allowing us to explore unconscious motives and work through them. Dream analysis also holds a central place in my practice, following Freud’s insight that “dreams are the royal road to the unconscious.” As such, they provide valuable material for understanding the patient’s inner world.
The ultimate goal of therapy is to equip patients with the tools necessary for ongoing self-understanding and personal growth, enabling them to continue their development even after therapy has ended.
