Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and commitment therapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Couples therapySupport for couples working through problems and who want to gain insight into the relational dynamics that contribute to the problem.
Family therapyRecommended for families who want to resolve conflicts, improve communication, and understand each other better within the family dynamic.

I use a broad range of techniques to assist my clients depending on their circumstances. I apply Systemic Family Therapy techniques to understand people in the context of their social relationships and explore their broader system. I encourage the client to set therapy goals and together we find ways to active the resources needed to achieve them. An exploration of the clients' relationship to self and others, their thoughts, values, and effects are a central part of the therapy experience.
