About me

I am a psychologist from Germany holding an MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology. I completed my studies in Vienna, Austria. My education provided me with in-depth knowledge of stress management, mindfulness techniques, and coping strategies for loss and other psychologically challenging experiences. Additionally, I gained valuable hands-on experience conducting an MRI-based clinical study and working at the men's health centre MEN in Vienna, where I developed expertise in men’s mental health.

Currently, I work as a counselling psychologist and supervisor, primarily supporting individuals affected by personality disorders and schizophrenia. In autumn, I will begin my training as a psychological psychotherapist in Germany.

Through my extensive work in academia and research, I have had the opportunity to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience has deepened my understanding of individual differences, cultural perspectives, and the unique challenges of living abroad.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Clinical psychologyRecommended for those who need help with diagnosing and treating more complex mental health issues, often involving assessments and evidence-based treatments.
MindfulnessMindfulness is the process of maintaining a purposeful moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, and surrounding environment.

As a psychologist specialising in clinical and health psychology, with extensive experience in clinical psychological research, I take a highly scientific and evidence-based approach. My counselling sessions are tailored to each individual's unique needs and circumstances, ensuring a personalised and practical experience.

Drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), I help clients recognise the connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions while developing practical strategies to manage distressing emotions and behaviours.

Creating a safe, non-judgmental space is at the core of my work, allowing you to explore your thoughts and emotions openly. A strong client-counsellor relationship is essential for successful outcomes, which is why I offer a free initial consultation to assess your current situation, define your goals, and ensure we are the right fit.

Please note that my services are provided online as psychological counselling, which is not a replacement for traditional face-to-face psychotherapy. While online counselling can be highly effective, it may not be suitable for every situation. If you are unsure about the right approach for you, I invite you to book a free consultation to discuss your needs.
