I completed my training in Malta within a multidisciplinary setting, where I worked alongside professionals addressing a broad spectrum of issues, including the psychological impact of physical health conditions, sexual health concerns, and complex mental health challenges. This diverse exposure allowed me to engage meaningfully with individuals from various backgrounds and to support them in alleviating their psychological distress.
My education has been delivered in English, in which I am fluent at a native level. Having lived in Scotland, South Asia—where I was born—and Lithuania, I bring a culturally informed and sensitive perspective to my practice.
These experiences have deepened my appreciation for individual narratives and the diverse ways in which people experience and express emotional wellbeing.
I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients, understanding their stories, and contributing meaningfully to their therapeutic journey.
My therapeutic style is warm, respectful, and client-centred, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and collaborative space. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) while also integrating exploration of childhood and past experiences when relevant. This flexible approach allows me to tailor each session to the individual, addressing both present concerns and underlying patterns.
A distinctive aspect of my practice is the comprehensive initial history-taking I conduct. This detailed intake process helps me to efficiently identify the core dilemmas, offering a focused and insightful path forward in therapy.
My work is guided by a deep respect for each client’s unique narrative and a commitment to working at a pace that feels both supportive and empowering.
