About me

I’m a qualified person-centred counsellor working with adults who want a thoughtful, supportive space to talk openly about what is going on in their lives. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or unsure about how to move forward. Therapy can offer a place to slow things down, reflect, and begin to understand yourself more clearly. My background is in person-centred counselling, which means I believe that meaningful change often begins when people feel genuinely heard and accepted without judgement. I aim to create a calm and respectful environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Rather than assuming I have the answers, I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to make sense of what is happening for you.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience supporting clients through anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions and work-related stress. I also work with neurodivergent clients, including people with ADHD and autism. I take a neurodivergence-affirming approach, recognising the strengths as well as the challenges that can come with different ways of thinking and experiencing the world.

People often tell me they value having a space where they can speak freely, reflect on their experiences, and begin to develop greater self-understanding and self-compassion.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CounsellingRecommended for those who want to talk through their emotional challenges with a professional in a safe, supportive environment.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Solution-focused therapyRecommended for those who want quick, practical solutions to their problems without focusing too much time on the past.

My work is grounded in person-centred therapy. This approach is based on the belief that each person has their own inner capacity for growth and change, and that therapy can help create the conditions where this process can unfold.

In our sessions, my focus is on listening carefully and helping you explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences in a way that feels safe and unhurried. Rather than directing the conversation or offering quick solutions, I aim to support you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself, your patterns, and the situations you are facing. Often this process can bring clarity, new perspectives, and a stronger sense of what you need moving forward.

While my core approach is person-centred, I also draw on elements of solution-focused work and psychoeducation where it feels helpful. For example, some clients find it useful to explore practical strategies for managing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or relationship dynamics alongside deeper reflection. Any tools or techniques are always introduced collaboratively and at your pace. I work in a neurodivergence-affirming way and welcome clients who are exploring ADHD, autism, masking, rejection sensitivity, or the experience of feeling different or misunderstood. Therapy can offer a space to better understand how your mind works and to develop ways of living that feel more supportive and authentic.

Above all, my aim is to offer a steady and compassionate space where you can explore whatever is important to you, gain greater insight into yourself, and move towards a way of living that feels more balanced and meaningful.
