About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am licensed to practice independently in the United States as an LMHC in Massachusetts, LPC in Alaska and in Germany as a Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie.
Within a supportive space, my focus is to help you find relief from a wide range of mental health challenges while developing solutions that are uniquely yours. I take a warm and empathic position with my clients promoting a meaningful therapeutic relationship valuing authenticity and trust. While I may have a sense of a direction where we are headed, I always invite your feedback and am flexible to change paths to provide the best individualized care. Using a blend of evidence-based modalities, my approach is collaborative as we develop new perspectives that foster growth and change.

Having worked in community mental health, emergency crisis and in military and international settings, I have experience helping clients manage various forms of anxiety, depression, stress, substance dependence, relationship issues, life transitions and challenges relating to cultural adjustment.
Our work together is directed toward achieving outcomes that reflect your own personal needs and values. I believe that effective therapy embraces various approaches and that each person is a resilient and active participant in the shaping of their own life.
