About me

Hello, I’m Elza Poghosyan, a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist based in Armenia. I work with adults in an individual therapy setting and offer a safe, respectful, and confidential space for psychological support. In my work, I value warmth, professional ethics, and careful understanding of each person’s unique story. I believe therapy can help people better understand themselves, reduce emotional suffering, and build a more grounded and meaningful life.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Gestalt therapyRecommended for those who want to focus on the present and take responsibility for their feelings and actions to promote personal growth.

My work is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while also integrating Gestalt and existential approaches when appropriate. I aim to combine emotional safety with structure, helping clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behavior, and life experiences. Depending on the client’s needs, therapy may focus on symptom relief, emotional regulation, self-awareness, trauma processing, relationship patterns, or deeper personal growth. I work collaboratively and tailor the therapeutic process to each individual.
