My work is rooted in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking. In this form of therapy, attention will be given to your internal life, to your relational history that shapes your present experience, and to the dynamics that may unfold within our therapeutic setting. Our sessions offer a space to slow down and notice how you relate to yourself and to others. The therapeutic relationship often becomes a mirror through which experiences you may have carried quietly for years can become easier to recognize and understand. Many people who engage in this type of work experience a gradual transformation in how they understand themselves and how they move within their relationships and their inner world. Over time, you may find yourself making decisions with more freedom, feeling less burdened by guilt and relating to yourself with a clearer sense of agency.
