About me

I'm a psychologist and psychotherapist from Lebanon. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the impact of trauma on an individual’s levels of trust, relationship with others, view of oneself and the meaning of life. I embrace a holistic perspective that integrates both top-down and bottom-up approaches to support individuals on their journey towards growth and self-discovery. With a career spanning several years in mental health and counseling, I am driven by a passion for creating safe spaces and facilitating transformative healing experiences. I specialize in Existential Analysis and Logotherapy from The Viennese School of Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, UK. Currently pursuing a PhD in Psychology at the University of Bolton. I am also a certified provider in Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) in addition to being a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. My mission is to assist individuals in confronting and transcending the existential challenges, traumas and tensions inherent in the human experience. Whether in deeply personal settings or within the dynamic landscape of the workplace, my approach is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and a steadfast belief in the capacity for healing and growth.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Existential analysisRecommended for those who are searching for deeper meaning in life or are struggling with big questions about existence, freedom, and purpose.
In my therapeutic practice, I embrace a holistic perspective that integrates both top-down and bottom-up approaches to support individuals on their journey towards growth and self-discovery. Drawing from my training in Existential Analysis, I approach therapy as a dialogical and interpersonal process, recognizing the significance of existential themes such as meaning, freedom, and responsibility in shaping one's life. At the same time, I incorporate insights from various disciplines, including the polyvagal theory and somatic practices such as Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). This blend of approaches allows me to address not only cognitive and emotional aspects but also the embodied experiences of my clients, understanding the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. I firmly believe that every individual is unique, with their own set of experiences, strengths, and challenges. As such, I work collaboratively with clients to develop customized plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. By fostering a participatory approach, I empower clients to take an active role in their healing journey, ensuring that their voices are heard and their choices respected.
