About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist working with children, adolescents, and adults, with experience across a range of emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. My work is grounded in both NHS and private settings, where I have supported people of all ages navigating anxiety, OCD, low mood, grief and loss, neurodivergence (including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder), sexual problems, relationship difficulties and challenges with self-esteem and identity.

I am particularly interested in how early experiences, relationships, and environments shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, respected, and able to explore your experiences at your own pace. I value warmth, curiosity, and collaboration in my work, and I tailor therapy to each individual and family I meet.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with friends and family, enjoying good food, and travel.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
CBT: Cognitive behavioural therapyRecommended for those looking for practical support and accountability to change unhelpful thinking and behaviors.
Integrative therapy Recommended for those who prefer a flexible approach that combines different therapies to meet their unique needs.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing on evidence-based models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and systemic and attachment-informed approaches. My clinical psychology training equips me to work flexibly, and I’ve seen how effective it can be to combine elements from multiple models to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. If you had a specific therapeutic model in mind that you want to focus on, we can certainly discuss this and see if I am the right psychologist for you to work with.

Building a trusting, open therapeutic relationship is central to how I work and supports the foundation for meaningful change. Alongside developing practical strategies for managing emotions and challenges, I also support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening self-compassion, and building a more secure sense of self. Where helpful, I work collaboratively with parents and families to support change beyond the therapy room.

Experience

I have a wealth of experience in various psychological and healthcare settings within the NHS, third sector, and private sector, including:

  • Community CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) supporting children and young people with mental health difficulties (e.g., OCD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating and body image difficulties, often alongside neurodivergence) and assisting parents with their child’s behavioural challenges.
  • Community and inpatient eating disorder services for children and young people, involving both individual and family work.
  • Conducting ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition, and Learning Disability assessments in CAMHS and Adult NHS services.
  • Delivering psychodynamic psychotherapy at a local charity for young people with a range of mental health presentations (e.g., anxiety, depression, anger-related difficulties, trauma, and sexual problems).
  • Community Adult NHS services addressing sexual problems (e.g., painful sex, low desire, intimacy issues).

Education

I completed my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to my clinical training, I earned my undergraduate degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of Bristol and my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Sciences at University College London.
