About me

I am a bilingual psychotherapist, fluent in Vietnamese and English. I offer a warm, reflective space for clients who wish to explore their cultural identity, personal history, or heritage. Whether you are of mixed heritage, such as German-Vietnamese, or an expat living abroad, navigating between cultures can bring both richness and complexity to life. In our work together, we can explore these layers with curiosity and compassion, helping you connect more deeply with yourself and your story. I welcome clients from all backgrounds seeking to understand themselves within the context of culture, migration, and belonging.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
ACT: Acceptance and Commitment TherapyRecommended for those who want to stop fighting negative thoughts and learn how to live with more acceptance and focus on what really matters in life.
Positive psychotherapyRecommended for those who want to focus on building strengths, increasing happiness, and enhancing their overall well-being, rather than just focusing on problems.
Psychodynamic therapyRecommended for those looking to explore their emotions deeply and understand how past experiences shape their present life.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and relational. I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel safe, seen, and heard. I work integratively, with a firm grounding in psychodynamic therapy, which explores how early relationships and unconscious patterns influence our present experiences. This helps us make sense of emotional responses, behaviours, and relational difficulties that may feel confusing or stuck. Alongside psychodynamic thinking, I draw on humanistic and body-based methods, constantly adapting to meet your needs. My work is informed by a deep respect for your cultural background, lived experiences, and personal history. Clients often describe me as approachable, down-to-earth, and someone with a good sense of humour. While therapy can involve deep emotional work, moments of lightness and laughter are just as important. A sense of humour can go a long way in helping us feel more human, connected, and able to face life’s challenges. Whether you’re navigating trauma, cultural identity, or significant life transitions, I aim to support you in reconnecting with your sense of self, safety, and strength. Working to integrate and weave other interventions, tools and skills to support and tailor for each client’s needs
