I am passionate about working with you in a way that allows them to explore your relationships with yourself and others, and healing and growing through the process. Above all I care about what I do and I've worked one-to-one with clients and alongside therapist teams for over 15 years.
I studied my undergraduate, MSc and PhD at Edinburgh University, exploring identity, sociology and psychology and I've worked in the mental health and wellbeing field for over a decade.
I completed my BACP accredited course in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of East London. My integrative training allows me to take a flexible, client-led and contemporary approach to therapy that is warm, safe and confidential.
I work in a way that is collaborative. My integrative training allows me to work with you to plan sessions with you in a way that works for you, your goals and area of focus.
The client-therapist relationship is crucial to how successful therapy is, and is central to my working approach. My warm, friendly and calm approach in sessions helps to build a strong relationship that is beneficial to you and your growth.
I'm flexible in my working approach due to my integrative way of working. We can use a variety of approaches and tools and find the combination that fits for you. I'm not a 'one size fits all' therapist.
