I am a qualified integrative counsellor and I also specialise in bereavement counselling. I have worked with people of all age groups and backgrounds and that has enriched my cultural views and facilitated my interactions with diversity. As problems are part of life, I have experienced personal difficulties that have enhanced my world. My coping-mechanisms, self-awareness and my techniques and skills have all helped me to live a healthy fulfilling life and enabled me to overcome life's challenges. From my own personal experiences, I now believe that it is possible for everyone to make positive changes in their lives, as long as they are willing to. I also believe their is a solution to every problem.
Additionally, I am proficient in my counselling career, and I have helped many people rectify their problems and move on positively.
I use various approaches to work with clients, such as CBT, Psychodynamic, humanistic and so on. Also, being that I also specialise in bereavement counselling, I also use grieving models to help and support people grieving the loss of their loved ones.
Moreover, I believe that all negative or irrational behaviours are internalised somewhere along the way, which means that most of the time, they derive from past unpleasant events, which is why it is necessary to use different approaches, as different clients attend therapy with different problems.
