I trained as a clinical psychologist in Chile and have been based in the UK since 2017, after receiving an excellence scholarship to pursue an MSc and a PhD (in progress) at the University College London’s Division of Psychiatry. I speak fluent English and Spanish and work with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My experience in both providing and receiving psychotherapy enables me to deliver empathetic, ethical, and high-quality psychological care.
Before moving to the UK, I completed five years of medical studies, a six-year psychology degree with supervised clinical training, and gained experience providing psychotherapy in hospitals and private practice. This strong foundation allows me to offer effective psychological support for mental health difficulties, with a deep understanding of the interconnection between emotional and physical challenges.
I support clients with all types of mental health difficulties (depression, anxiety, life transitions, etc) and the many effects of trauma. Additionally, with advanced training in dementia and long-term disease care, I help those navigating chronic illness, caregiving responsibilities, and the psychological impact of physical health conditions. In this work, I address stress, anxiety, acceptance, and grief, while also supporting families with the practical complexities of caregiving.
I aim to help you enjoy life and move toward a meaningful future. Contact me for a free 30-minute video consultation to see if we are a good fit. I am a Full Member of the British Psychological Society (FMBP N° 770981) and a licensed Psychologist in Chile (Superintendencia de Salud N° 460744).
Philosophy and Approach Everyone, despite past and present difficulties, can and deserves to feel better. Together, we can reduce emotional pain, build resilience, and enhance your quality of life.
