About me

I'm a qualified psychotherapist from Italy. I faced the difficulties of moving to a new country by myself and trying to create a support network from zero. The challenges I lived through help me better understand the experience of young expats and immigrants who dealing with loneliness, anxiety, a sense of isolation, homesickness and the experiences that come with being a foreigner.

I'm trauma sensitive and my practice is gender, sexuality, relationship diversity (GSRD) affirmative and with sensitivity in cultural and racial positioning. I have helped people with a wide range of issues including traumatic experiences, and chronic health conditions. I have also supported people struggling with the stress of work and relationships, with identity issues, and with life transitions in the context of the current socio-political, environmental, and financial difficulties.

Approach

Treatment Approaches
Humanistic psychologyRecommended for those looking for a therapy that emphasizes personal growth and self-fulfillment, focusing on becoming your best self in a positive, non-judgmental space.
Person-centred approachRecommended for those looking for a supportive, non-judgmental space where they can lead the conversation and explore their feelings at their own pace.
Trauma informed careRecommended for those who have experienced trauma and need a safe, supportive space to heal at their own pace.

The therapeutic relationship you and I develop can become a safe space where you can make sense of your experiences, learn more about yourself and allow new understandings and perspectives to emerge. I am committed to working with you to help you gain a greater sense of empowerment and give you a space that it’s just yours.

I am not here to diagnose or fix problems, but to listen and explore with you what is going on. If you like the idea, we may also integrate creative approaches, including visualisation, imagery, journaling and art materials to bring further clarity to what you’re feeling. I can also support you to focus on and better understand the connection between your embodied and physical experiences and your thoughts and feelings.
