I am qualified as a psychodynamic psychotherapist. I trained at the University of London, a respected Institute for therapists. I hold an MSc Degree in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited by BACP. As well as my psychotherapeutic practice, I extensively worked with adults and young people in social care settings.
I received my BA from the University of London, specializing in Psychosocial Studies and exploring the interconnected psychic and social forces that produce us as people and determine our complex relations to one another. The relationship between individuals and the social sphere continues to shape my thinking and clinical approach.
As a psychodynamic and psychoanalytically-oriented practitioner, I deeply respect the unconscious patterns, narratives, and beliefs that shape us from early life. I believe that by honoring these influences, we can gain insight into how they continue to affect us in unexpected ways. I am here to support people from all walks of life who are facing challenges, with a special focus on issues related to sexuality, evolving gender identities, and diverse relationships. I also have a deep understanding of the feelings of confusion and loss that often accompany life transitions. I bring extensive experience in working with a broad range of life issues including relationships, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, loss, trauma, and addictions. I work in a confidential space free from judgments, embodied with curiosity, empathy, and insight.
