I trained at the Minster Centre, Europe’s leading training institution for psychotherapy and counselling. I bring to my work both a long and robust training and a wealth of experience, which includes NHS secondary and primary care, educational, charity and university therapeutic work, as well as mental health support work and private practice.
I aim to offer a warm and collaborative approach in our work together and do not lose sight of what it can feel like to be a therapy client and the courage that takes. I work in an integrative way, drawing on a wide range of therapeutic approaches to meet you where you are at.
If you’re genuinely struggling financially please talk to me - I may be able to do something about fees. I also offer a £40 initial session so you can get a feel for what it might be like working with me before making any further commitment - finding a therapist can be hard!
My approach is integrative and draws on humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and transpersonal theory and practice. I blend these in a way that fits the uniqueness of you and what you’re bringing. I work relationally, so the experience of therapy is ‘live’ and not just about ‘what is out there’ or in the past, but what is happening now.
