Hello, my name is Catherine. I come from a binational Ukrainian and French family. Having lived in Ukraine, France, the Czech Republic, and now London, I know firsthand the complexities of living far from home and the challenge of adapting to new environments.
I also understand the weight of burnout and the uncertainty of a career transition. Before moving into psychology, I spent years in the fashion industry, working as a costume designer’s assistant and at international fashion weeks, so I truly empathize with those navigating a change in path or searching for their life's purpose.
Beyond the therapy room, I am a dedicated practitioner of yoga and functional training, and I enjoy the grounding process of pottery.
Therapy was a transformative support for me during a pivotal time in my life. This personal experience fuels my commitment to providing that same holding, supportive space for you.
I integrate Clinical Psychology with Gestalt Therapy. While my university background provides a deep understanding of mental health, my practice focuses on the therapeutic process. My practice is guided by the immediate awareness that emerges in our dialogue, rather than a fixed or task-led structure. This allows us to move beyond managing symptoms to understanding the deeper patterns that influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Our work focuses on your emotions and bodily experiences in the here and now to understand how past experiences shape your present. To maintain an ethical and grounded practice, I regularly attend professional supervision and continue my own personal therapy.
