I hold a Master's Degree in Psychology, specializing in Clinical and Health Psychology, and I have experience counseling adult individuals who face various psychological challenges. Before focusing on psychology, I earned a degree in Geography, which allowed me to explore the interactions that influence and shape landscapes around the world. As a psychologist, I see myself as an attentive and curious explorer of the fascinating world of the mind. I believe our thoughts and behaviors are influenced by various factors over time. Every individual possesses a distinct combination of experiences, narratives, challenges, and strengths that shape who they are. My life story has taken me through times of significant economic and political instability, shaping my responsibility for my choices and my family's well-being. I have also gained valuable insights from my favorite sports: orienteering and yoga. From orienteering, I've learned the importance of finding the right path by first understanding my current location and trusting myself to find solutions. Therefore, in our initial meetings, we will focus on assessing your reality and setting a goal for where you want to go. Additionally, yoga has taught me how to become more resilient in uncomfortable situations by practicing calm breathing. This practice allows me to realize afterward that I have grown stronger and gained more control. I am here to help you discover the possibilities that may seem hidden during times of change and difficulty. My role is to support and encourage you as we seek ways to create a more harmonious and fulfilling life. Together, we can work towards achieving strength, balance, and freedom in your choices.
My approach is primarily based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I strive to tailor my methods to meet the individual needs. The name "acceptance and commitment therapy" conveys an essential message: accept what is beyond your personal control and commit to actions that enhance your life. ACT is not just about talking. In our sessions, I will invite you to try different practices to help you learn new coping skills to overcome the challenges you are facing, and we will work together to explore better ways to handle all the difficulties you encounter.

These assessments address specific referral questions and result in a written report. Please note that psychological assessments can only be conducted during in-person meetings.
