As a Brazilian psychologist living in Germany, I have a genuine interest in people. I started my career in a hospital, conducting individual and group therapy, and later worked in clinics, schools and government agencies, conducting psychotherapy, counseling and guidance. During my doctorate in Portugal, I focused on developing a program to prevent alcohol consumption among university students. In addition, I co-founded an organization to empower Portuguese-speaking women in Germany. I continually update my mental health knowledge and language skills.
As a psychologist living abroad, my clinical practice is centered on caring for emotional and psychological issues at the intersection of culture and its impact on people's mental health and well-being. To help people explore the wealth of opportunities and understand the complexities of the human experience away from their homeland. I continually seek to be present and available, through active and welcoming listening, in a safe and empathetic space for the exploration and resolution of emotional and psychological issues.
