About me
I completed my education as a psychologist at the University of Copenhagen in 2013, with a master's degree and experience within the fields of narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
On a more personal note, for most part of my life I have been an expat myself, living for many years in Riyadh and Buenos Aires and then Berlin. I therefore have an intimate understanding of the difficulties that can arise when having to integrate into a new society.
After seven years in Berlin, establishing the community practice Mittelweg 50 and the platform It's Complicated with my friend and colleague, Jakob Lusensky, I decided to move closer to my family. That's why I am now (only) practicing online therapy from a little Danish city called Fredensborg.
Fun facts that might feel relevant to you include that I'm the mother of two very unruly kids from 2016 and 2019, that I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and that I'm passionate about friendship and wrote my thesis about the therapeutic potential of friendship.
When I don't do therapy sessions, I coordinate the It's Complicated community (https://community.complicated.life) and host the Therapy Talk podcast.

My approach
People are the experts in their own lives. This is why supporting the individual in being his or her own therapist is the primary purpose of my work as a Danish- and English-speaking clinical psychologist working solely online. In order to enable you to cope with current difficulties, together we’ll explore the past and present narratives of your life and help to thicken those which reveal ability and positive attributes.
