I completed my education as a psychologist at the University of Copenhagen in 2013, with a master's degree and experience within the fields of narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
On a more personal note, for most part of my life I have been an expat myself, living for many years in Riyadh and Buenos Aires and then Berlin. I therefore have an intimate understanding of the difficulties that can arise when having to integrate into a new society.
After seven years in Berlin, establishing the community practice Mittelweg 50 and the platform It's Complicated with my friend and colleague, Jakob Lusensky, I decided to move closer to my family. That's why I am now (only) practicing online therapy from Copenhagen, Denmark.
Fun facts that might feel relevant to you include that I'm the mother of two kids from 2016 and 2019, that I've recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and that I'm passionate about friendship and wrote my thesis about the therapeutic potential of friendship.
When I don't do therapy sessions, I coordinate the It's Complicated community (
https://community.complicated.life), host the Therapy Talk podcast, and hang out with family and friends.
