How do I start therapy in Granadilla de Abona?

You contact a therapist directly. There is no referral to arrange and no assessment to pass, so the first step is choosing someone whose format and language suit you and sending them a message. Most therapists treat the first session as a chance for both of you to see whether it feels like a fit.

Are there therapists who see clients in person in Granadilla de Abona?

Our format filters will show you exactly who is available in person. If nobody local suits you, online therapists can usually see clients wherever they are based.

Is online therapy as good as meeting in person?

It suits different people differently rather than being better or worse. Online removes the question of commute and gives you far more choice of language, approach and specialisation, and sessions can continue if you move or travel. Meeting in person suits people who want a clear separation between therapy and home.

What does private therapy in Granadilla de Abona cost?

Each therapist sets their own rate and shows it on their profile, so the cost varies from profile to profile rather than following a fixed local price. You pay the therapist directly. Rates and session lengths are both listed, which makes it easier to compare before you get in touch.

How are the therapists on It's Complicated checked?

Every therapist is verified before they appear. What that involves depends on where they practise, because qualifications and professional registers differ by country, and the requirements for each are published in our help centre. Each profile also states the therapist's qualifications, which is worth reading alongside their approach and rates.
