Monika Broecker

My work is grounded in systemic, strategic, solution-focused, and somatic perspectives. I work in a collaborative, pragmatic, and thoughtful way, adapting my approach to each person’s situation, goals, and context. I often work with people who are capable and reflective, yet find themselves stuck, overwhelmed, or at a transition point — in relationships, leadership roles, family life, or personal direction. I do not pathologize normal human struggles, but support clarity, agency, and meaningful change. Depending on the situation, my work may be conversational and reflective, structured and strategic, or body-oriented and experiential. I value precision, respect complexity, and aim for interventions that are both humane and effective.

Since 2014, I have worked in private practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #81030) in California. In Germany, I am a certified Systemic Therapist, Consultant, and Coach (since 2004), and I practice as "Heilpraktikerin für Psychotherapie" in Haan, near Düsseldorf, since 2025. I work in English and German, in person and online. In 2008, I founded the Center for Personal Growth, which focused on executive coaching, leadership development, and the design and facilitation of workshops, retreats, and organizational processes. My work included strategy and vision development, values-based leadership, team processes, and large- and small-group formats such as World Café, dialogue-based meetings, and experiential le Through the Center for Personal Growth, I also hosted and curated hundreds of workshops by international experts who brought innovative, systemic, somatic, and experiential approaches to personal and organizational development. Alongside my private practice, I bring extensive experience in leadership development and executive coaching within global organizations. From 2015 to 2023, I worked as a Leader and Executive Coach at Meta (formerly Facebook), supporting senior leaders, managers, and teams in complex, high-pressure environments. Earlier, I worked at Google, where I built and led the School of Personal Growth and the legendary Search Inside Yourself program in addition to leadership and people-manager development initiatives,

I have a Master of Arts in Somatic Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies San Francisco, CA and a Master of Science in Communications from University of Arts Berlin.
