I'm an Italian psychologist in Denmark (cand. psych. aut.). My job is to provide you with a "safe space" to explore new coping strategies for your life situation.
I'm a foreigner living in a foreign country: this experience, with its challenges, might be similar to yours. I have invested and continue to invest energy and commitment in professional development with courses and supervision: I consider it a responsibility towards my clients.
Providing a safe space to be able to share reflections and support people's change is a commitment I approach with great respect and humanity.
There are many theoretical and methodological approaches in psychology. My starting point are your needs, your goals for change. And starting from your goals, I will give you the tools you need to face old and new challenges you are experiencing.
I follow an integrated approach that includes tools and methods from different theories: cognitive theory integrated with mindfulness, ACT therapy, compassion-focused therapy , psychodynamic therapy, body integration experiences, E.M.D.R., somatic therapy.
