I believe that each person has the power and ability to change as long as they have the resources and tools to do it. I use Dialectal Behavior Therapy, or DBT, since I feel it's beneficial and useful when treating an array of conditions and disorders, as well as day-to-day situations. The objective or foundation of DBT is to balance a person's acceptance of their own life in order to increase their ability to adapt and function, and decrease behaviors that are harmful to them. My goal with this approach is to help people develop and maintain a life worth living.
