Join us on exploring the hidden depths of anxiety and how to work with it fron an existential point of view, hosted by our dear colleague Anna Bruk. 😊
Anxiety grows in the dark. As long as we don't look at what would actually happen if the worst came true, we stand before an imagined nothingness - and it is this nothingness that frightens us.
The Gate of Death is a structured confrontation that leads a person through their deepest fear to the ground beneath it: reality, themselves, and what they can still do.
We'll briefly look at the theory - why confrontation reduces anxiety in existential understanding. Then go through the procedure of the method step by step and the logic behind each question. After that, I propose to do a single demonstration case with a volunteer from the group.
