Short film screenings + Discussion (English) - ONLINE STREAMING
Whether you’re a psychologically curious filmmaker, film enthusiast or a film loving psychologist, you’ll feel at home at PSYNEMA…
This special PSYNEMA "Brunch edition" explores the psychological cost of silence through film and a discussion: secret, avoidance or denial, and what happens, when we don’t dare to find the words…

Join us for an exclusive preview of two new short films and the post-screening conversation with their director Lara Czernecki and the psychologist host Zsofia Nyul.
🎞️In Your Choice to Leave
On their last night at boarding school, best friends Daniel and Max pack, talk and circle a goodbye neither can face, because this one is about far more than the end of school… A story of the unspoken grief and denial as a defence against helplessness.
🎞️In Verified
We're in near-future Britain where a female survivor's testimony isn't enough to prove abuse. Peter is asked to speak and to choose between two friends, two futures. His hesitation is the film's real subject, and it shows us the pain of his silent moral dilemma and how the good people can also fail to do what's right... With the Cornell7 case resurfacing, the film brings up very timely questions.
Two very different films, one shared question, and a live discussion where the viewer is invited to reflect, connect, and process together what the films brought up in each of us.
