I specialise in working with people who have anxiety conditions such as generalised anxiety, phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic attacks, and catastrophic thoughts.
I have been working for over 25 years within communities. I bring with me a range of counselling and practical tools that clients can use to manage their anxiety with and to work on being their own therapist in the future. Self-sufficiency and self-confidence in shaping your own future is a key objective in my work to help you if you have anxiety.
I am a registered BACP member and realised within my decades-long work with people and communities, that anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, trauma, phobias and intrusive thoughts can seriously affect the future decisions and life outcomes of those affected.
Yet, I have also come to realise that counselling support can provide a route through which people can feel rooted, more confident and able to manage anxiety, thereby moving their lives forward.
Allied to this, I have lived experience of managing long-term anxiety in my life and I have sought pathways that have worked for me, in managing anxiety. One of those pathways, was dedicated and committed work in therapy, in understanding the root causes of my anxiety, how it manifested itself in my life, my thoughts and ultimately in my actions. This process of understanding, opened up a way in managing the anxiety and ultimately in significantly reducing its impacts on my life.
This is also why I have chosen to be a counsellor and to give back to people and to communities, who ultimately make up my life’s work; because in the end, the more self-empathic, understanding and emotionally connected we are to each other, the less we feel unhappy. It really does come down to something as simple as this.

As a trained counsellor in the U.K. and registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I bring with me lived and professional experience of working with a range of anxiety conditions and stress. I know that much of the mental health and emotional healing can only come from within and through therapeutic support with someone that you can trust, be compatible with and ultimately work with.
I take a holistic approach to my work, looking at your current situation, your past, family and emotional links, as well as societal trigger points that may be causing emotional or mental health difficulties. I also work with you to ensure that you can build a stronger understanding of the root causes of what may be causing you anxiety difficulties, whilst strengthening your ability to make choices.
Furthermore, I work on limiting core beliefs that can make someone feel 'less worthy', 'unloved', 'out of control', 'stuck', as well as other limiting beliefs that lead individuals to lose opportunities and to have low self-esteem.
My work seeks to build a greater sense of control over your choices in life, realise and reduce limiting thoughts and behaviours, and work towards reducing their impacts on life. So, conditions such as anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic attacks, phobias and intrusive thoughts do not have to hold you back.
I hope to work with you on your personal journey through counselling and therapy.
